"I graduated in 2004 with a law degree from Warwick, but knew I wanted to work in a more creative and dynamic environment.

Within two weeks of joining Human Capital I was helping with the launch of a new weekly women's celebrity magazine, and have since worked on research development projects with the BBC, Cartoon Network and a new youth online service.

There's never a typical day in the R&D practice. You could be conducting focus groups with bleeding edge technology consumers one evening and sitting on the floor watching cartoon with kids the next day, or working with a newspaper's development team in the morning and analysing circulation trends and CAGR of the women's magazine market in the afternoon."
