Career profiles: Zadok Prescott, Strategy Associate

"After first studying Engineering Science, and then migrating to a Theology degree at Oxford, I found myself wondering what a somewhat mathematical, sometime theologian of a young man ought to do with his life.

Not being fortunate enough to know exactly what I wanted to do, I had an inkling that joining a consultancy firm was the best way to use and develop a wide range of skills and experiences. This has certainly been the case at Human Capital.

Zadok Prescott

I joined the Strategy team in 2006 and I'm delighted with the choice I made. I find the culture of Human Capital conducive to high standards of work - the management style is supportive and relaxed, and being a relatively small firm I feel that I have been exposed to far more senior clients and more varied tasks than would be the case elsewhere.

Since joining Human Capital I have consulted for a variety of media clients, including the BBC, Sky, the Open University and the Radio Advertising Bureau. The range of work has been broad including financial modelling for private equity companies, business case development for a Russian internet start-up and internet regulatory research for Ofcom.

My day to day tasks include brainstorming sessions, research and data analysis, throwing soft rubber balls about the office, report writing, and presenting to and meeting with clients."
