We help a range of clients in designing, organising, facilitating and analysing qualitative research, from focus groups to in-depth interviews. Recent examples of our work include testing and refining the popular BBC programmes Dragons’ Den & The Apprentice:
The Question: the BBC wanted to understand the potential of, and how to improve, two new formats on BBC TWO
What Did We Do? Human Capital ran a series of focus groups and “At Home With” interviews watching the programme with couples and families. We discussed the strengths, weaknesses and potential improvements to the programmes and edited together a film of the results
What Happened? Two of the most iconic factual entertainment formats on TV went from strength to strength, incorporating most of our recommendations. Dragon’s Den and The Apprentice regularly reached audiences of 4 million
